We are a domiciliary care agency founded on the Franciscan philosophy that healing has both physical and spiritual dimensions.
SD Care has a very good reputation for high standards of care and nursing to clients in their own homes (domiciliary care, homecare or personal care). Whether you require a couple of hours per week, 24-hour live-in or night sitting, we can offer you a tailored nursing care arrangement to suit your budget and requirements.
All our staff are carefully selected for their experience, professionalism and passion for caring in congruence with our Franciscan values. They are trained according to the qualification framework prescribed by Care Quality Commission and formulated by Skills for Care. All our staff undergo security screening as part of an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and are carefully vetted for identity and right-to-work.
Our recruitment procedures fully meet the standards required by CQC (Care Quality Commission). SD Care Agency is also committed to providing and maintaining a quality service at competitive rates.
We can provide cover 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, at competitive rates.
SD Care has a wide range of domiciliary and home care services allowing you or a loved one to receive the quality health care you need in the comfort of your very own home. Visits from caring, dedicated staff cover a wide range of circumstances but in all instances, we only appoint staff specifically trained for your particular needs.
As we also run a nursing agency which provides staffing to nursing and residential homes, we can draw on our sizeable pool of Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants to support our full-time domiciliary care staff. One of our key strengths is our ability to mobilise care services at short notice.
We can provide these services in your private residence, residential home, assisted-living facility or any other place you regard as home. Our aim is to improve your health and quality of life while keeping you safe and independent at home. We want you to live at home with your loved ones for as long and as fully as possible.
